Interesting take on Zin, plenty of big fruit, but complex and earthy at the same time. Decant for an hour at least to get best showing in present state.

This is really dark, a bit like a petite sirah. Nose of red berries. This wine tastes amazing, tart raspberry and medium plus toasty oak. Really high acidity, makes your mouth water after taking a sip. Slightly coiled up at this age, although I have no problem drinking them now, they'll have a long life ahead of them. Problem is this is my last bottle! Doh.

Made the mistake of trying one of these much too early. Tightly packed in aroma and flavor, oak on top of fruit and acid. Man, this needs time. Better after 5+ years, there's tons of structure to go much further in my opinion. Very happy to have anothoer bottle and should probably search another 3-6 more to add to the cellar.

Wound very tight at first opening. Inky and tannic. Let it sit for another day and it evolved into something much different, more rounded and mellow. Still, a very powerful wine at 15.5%, yet somehow lighter in feel than many Turley's of same weight. Can probably take some aging and mellowing, but showing nice potential.
