New Zealand and French Chardonnays (Auckland, New Zealand): Light greenish yellow. Tropical fruit and herb. Rich attack, discrete wood, nice flow and citric lift, but this loses intensity in the mid-palate, and the finish is dominated by bitter oak.

Instant fresh salvia on the nose followed by pineapple, stone smoke and lemon juice. Much more open and ready than I thought it would be.
Salvia on the palate with orchard fruit followed by a fine mineral character that ends up with a creamy finish.
Overall a lovely experience. QPR is very good at this price. Seems Felton road hasn't raised their prices much since the last 10 years. Why buy white burgundy when you can find these wines at a much lower price?

Citrus, grapefruit, some tropical notes, and green apple. Hints of light oak. Lovely and fresh.
