Transparent cherry red --- Nose dark fruit, cedar box, some sour cherry, nutty notes --- Palate fresh, nice acidity, cherries, sour cherry, red currant, some blueberries, vanilla note --- Finishes pretty long on its fruity character plus mineral notes, blueberries flashing back. Hmmhh, is this a Tuscany vine? Tastes like a well made Chilean Cabernet Sauvignon, all in all appears very much New World style. Very tasty and pleasing but not Tuscany for me.

Very lovely wine. 100% Sangiovese and the color reflects that. I was worried about the 15% abv but it wasn't overly hot on the palate. Nose was ripe cherry, anise, spice. Palate was great with chocolate and ripe cherries on the main stage. Cedar, anise and cinnamon there as well. Tannins are surprisingly soft and the finish is medium. For the price this is great quality and ready to drink now.

Decent wine for the price. After an hour decant it was definitely better. Could maybe get better with a bit a age but I don't see it going to far away from what it is now.

Aromatically it presents more spice than fruit with a heat in nose that approaches menthol. In mouth it is fresh with that elusive strawberry flavor appearing amidst the plum skin and cherry. Sweetish with medium viscosity mouthfeel.

Elegant, medium bodied Sangiovese, with typical cherry, ink, herbs and earthy notes, gently framed by chocolate and cedar notes in the background. Although already approachable this bottle should further improve over the coming 5 years.
