Tasted at Tre Bicchieri NYC. Made from vines of 10 years of age or less. This bottle was much less open than the one recently tasted. This seems like it was just opened with very dusty tannins. Nice precise cherry fruit, very youthful. Tart finish. Will age well and needs aeration too.

Tasted at Wine & Spirits Top 100, NYC. I really liked this, while it will be better with some cellaring, it is quite drinkable now. Elegant, classic, pure. Strong typicity, no doubt it’s Nebbiolo. Supremely balanced.

Tarry nose, licorice, juicy sour cherry, a bit of bramble and floral, pleasantly light and almost sweet on the palate, with a little grippy, tannic heel-click at the end, just a stellar Barolo made in a youthful, raspberry- and rose-forward, shockingly easy-drinking style.

Prince - Barolo 2019 (Prince Sydney, 40 Hansard Street): Medium minus intensity aromas of cherry fruit, dried flowers and berries, touch of pot pourri. Juicy with muted fruit and slightly coarse talc textured tannins, a little dilute. Meh
