(Château Pichon-Longueville Baron) Very dark ruby color; aromatic, ripe red currant, olive, dill nose; tasty, mature, tart red currant, oregano, tart raspberry puree palate with medium acidity; medium-plus finish

(Château Pichon-Longueville Baron) 70% Cabernet Sauvignon, 27% Merlot, 3% Cabernet Franc. Strong, transparent color. Evolving nose (though less evolved than the 2002); still fruity, with the lifted, appealing notes of Cabernet Franc in the foreground. Smooth palate, showing fresh acidity and gentle, evolving fruit. Stylish, feminine, balanced, and elegant; slightly warm on the long finish. Delicious, complete wine to enjoy now and for the next 15 years. Winery Spotlight: Château Pichon-Longueville
