Dark carmine red. In the bouquet as well as on the palate some oak. The fruits seems to have been extremely ripe and almost sun boiled. Almost like a Port wine. The certainly is tannin and acidity which still promise some future, but I don't expect this to become a really complex wine.

Not a whole lot of fruit on the warm nose. Redcurrants, some iron, gingerbread. Medium bodied palate with mid-level acidity and slight grip. Red berries, cherries and some figgy nuances as well. Mushrooms, sous bois, baking spices and chocolate. Quite lengthy with alcoholic roundness. This came across a bit murky somehow. And seemed rather aged already, but still I'd probably keep it for some years before tasting again.
