Took a good hour to get going, feeling all bound up and tight in a way I rarely experience from Meursault. But after an hour, it became an expansive wine, horizontal even. Beautiful. No sign of premox. Can go 10+ more, in my opinion.
This might be the first time I really appreciated a Clos de la Barre or I think I have had this before and appreciated it then as well. So this is my fave vintage of this wine of the ones I have been drinking so far. It is now lovely with a lot of yellow fat fruit. Very good village quality.
