Gorgeously perfumed with raspberry, black fruit, and plum and joined by a rosy, potpourri note. This is just lovely in the mouth; super depth with suave mouthfeel and a finish that doesn't end. Tasted twice with consistent results. 94-95 points

Cassis, tobacco, flowers, blackberries, and red currants show easily on the nose, and palate. There is a wealth of fresh, dark red fruits, creamy tannins, and blackberries on the mid-palate, and in the finish. This clearly shows a new face for Langoa Barton with more fruit, and softer tannins, yet the wine holds on to its classic style as well. The wine blends 56.5% Cabernet Sauvignon, 41% Merlot and 2.5% Cabernet Franc. 14.2% ABV. Drink from 2027-2050. 93-95 Pts.

A week in Bordeaux (Mouton, Pontet Canet, D'Issan, Langoa & Leoville Barton, SHL, Arbo, Pavie, Fleur de Bouard, Cheval Blanc, VCC, Figeac); 5/21/2023-5/26/2023 (Left and Right banks of Bordeaux): Tasted at the Chateau along with two other wines. My first '22s. Not sure how long this saw air before we tasted (I believe it was from the barrel poured into the bottle well before we arrived). Drinking very well now given it's age. More elegant than the '22 Leoville (b/c of more Merlot in the blend). Their newly redesigned/renovated facility is really impressive and the grounds are beautiful. Definitely worth the visit! Lot's of upside on this one and just put in my futures order! My wife's favorite of the three tasted (mine was the Leoville Barton)

Bordeaux 2022 en Primeur and some recent vintages: Very nice and puristic. Light body without being thin. Tannins less massive than the Leoville but still, these wines need cellar time.
