Im Gaumen mit opulenter Frucht, sehr feines Tannin, top Balance, der Wein hat Fülle, Rasse und Eleganz, hallt lange nach, wird wunderbar reifen. Hohes Niveau. En Primeur campaign for the 2022 vintage Day Two (Bordeaux): Blackcurrant cordial, a sense of concentration, sweet oak spice…black fruits are less well delineated on the palate - more of a compote - slightly meaty underpin to these fruits which are all joined by some chalky tannins. Simple, clean. Okay

Langton's Bordeaux En Primeur 2022 tasting (Langham Hotel, Kent Street, Sydney): Savoury blackcurrant, sweet spice, a little cedar, tiny pyrazine note. Medium plus intensity acidity, a little cream joins the muted fruit, tannins are drying though, again, quite silky. Simple but okay.
