Medium nose shows baked apple, bosch pear, hazelnut, yellow flowers. Palate is nicely expressive, layers of deep citrus, nutty tones, light funk/earth, mushroom, framed by beautiful acidity. Would be hard pressed to blind this as Old or New World. Well done.
1/3 new oak for 12 months, then 4 months in stainless on lees.
