Tasted at winery. Pale yellow with green tint. Floral, grapey, citrus, cream (due to malolactic fermentation), and spices. Long clean finish.
Lina explained that Pinot Gris is the only wine that goes through malolactic fermentation. All other wines do not go through malolactic. She also suggested to use this Pinot Gris like stronger red wine in terms of cuisine pairing.

Bought from TWS following some surprisingly wonderful Alsatian Pinot Gris experiences. A little more sweetness than I was expecting, and so big in the mouth. Not to be taken lightly at 14% ABV this was great for contemplating while waiting for the food to arrive, and did even better with the food. Interestingly, in spite of the little bit of sweetness, fellow diners who typically only like bone dry whites very much enjoyed this.
