Served to celebrate a 30th Anniv. Poured to a deep, dark golden, almost caramel coloring. Some fizz, but not a lot of bubbles, but they stayed for a while. The flavors included: honey, lychee, apricot and a hint of acidity. At the end, it tasted like a Gratien! probably would have scored higher 5 years earlier, but still a delight.

Deep golden yellow with tight bubbles. Layered nose with honeycomb, straw and apricot rind. Medium acidity (5/10) and medium minus bodied. Well rounded with some bread notes, honeyed fruits and tons of minerality. Medium to medium plus length finish. Drink now.

I served this in my wine course. Oxidative notes in the nose, with some honey and especially raisons. Outstanding finish that still comes across as youthfully refreshing with loads of acidity.

Mature nose with dried fruit, orange peel, dried apricots and some mushroom. On the verge of oxidative notes. But nice. Medium-fullish, rich palate with good structure. Mature, dark chocolate, dried apricots and hints of mushroom. Good intensity, but after a while age shows itself.

66% Chardonnay, 24% Pinot Noir,10% Pinot Meander. A great vintage of course and this is now very mature. Full, golden colour, bubbles subside quickly leaving what is essentially a still wine. Full flavoured and long. Great if you like this fully mature style.
