  The ripe, pronounced nose is bursting with cassis and blackberry, deftly
  supported by oaky notes of cinnamon and vanilla. The palate is intensely morish, plentiful layers of fresh black fruit eventually giving way to a finish of dried plum and leather: the first signs of budding maturity. All in all, Château du Pin is exceptional for an AOC Bordeaux.
