Nicely perfumed, lightly coloured, florally flavoured medium bodied village Chambolle, perfect at 12 years of age for Isabel & Harry's eve-of-wedding dinner, to accompany seared sea bass, and for resumed drinking for the best men et al after the Yquem 1983 had run out. 10 bottles of this wine consumed by 24 people at and after dinner, surprisingly modest at first blush, but they managed to polish off 3 bottles of Yquem, 6 of Condrieu, and 5 of St Baillon as well!

Good solid villages Chambolle. Dark color, but the trademark Mugnier finesse on the palate. This one tastes like it has years ahead of it. My discrete CT scale: 95-extraordinary; 90-very good; 85-good; 80-fair; 75-poor

Delicious wine drinking perfectly now. This would blow away many 1er and Grand cru burgs as long as they were all served blind.
