Lots of bricking, with long thin edges. Medium bodied, cranberries, sage, crushed cherries, fully resolved tannins, tons of acid, earth, and a long dry finish. First night nose and taste worried me that I'd waited too long. Second night it was much better, even if the nose was still a bit corky. Drink NOW.

Cherry and red berry fruit, with notes of blueberry, anise, and other savory herbs on the medium finish, with light tannins and good acidity. This is fully mature, although has several years left in it. The Cellartracker drinking window looks too short by three to five years. Although there are other Chateauneufs I prefer in this price range, it was a good value at under $50.

Drinking very well. Improves with air. Give it air. Cheers!

Seems almost too young. Very primary and direct. I wonder what another 10 years would do.
