  Following the rose, the virtual Ridge tasting turned to this beauty. This is a deep yellow in the glass; almost golden. A bit tight but showing nice development of golden apple, lime, buttered toast, and vanilla. Does it speak of California Chardonnay? Yes, of course, but not overdone. This is a nicely balanced wine with a pleasing roundness but not fulsome. A well balanced wine to enjoy now or cellar for greater enjoyment a few years later. 14.3% alc., and it does not show one bit. With shrimp spread. 03.29.24. Recommended with a nod toward Highly Recommended.
