  Lots of depth on the nose: sous bois, currants, cherries. The structure was solid: good acid and tannin. With time the palate faded as others have noted. Finish shortened up, alcohol felt more present. Probably getting a little old. Even the domaine says to drink within 2-10 years. Will come back to that last bottle in a couple years as an experiment.

  Very surprising and nice wine. Amazing color, brick fringe, sweetness, very easy to drink and very enjoyable.

  Dark berry and cherry nose leads to raspberry and cranberry on the palate with some underlying earthiness. Crisp acidity and a bright fruity finish. Not much depth to this one.
