S$100-$150 open theme: To be fair I had some help from the red wax capsule, but I immediately called this as a Foillard 3.14 with some age. Slightly bretty nose but the palate had lovely waves of red berried fruit. Nicely resolved and integrated, an absolute treat to have tried an aged Foillard. Tartness became more prominent with air.

(Jean Foillard Morgon "Cuvee Corcelette") This is a new cuvee that I have never seen before and was absolutely profound. This comes from sandy soil. Very pretty nose, that was pure, floral with a heavy dose of violets. Extremely concentrated with juicy acidity giving this a luscious mouthfeel with a pure, fresh and mineral finish. This was just brilliant.

Classic foillard. Spicy stemmy and red berried. The fruit sweetness is thinning out. Yet it still tastes quite primary. Pleasant and average
