Lots of sediment. Should have stood up a week ahead of time to let it settle. Took 45 minutes to open up and let the ripe plum notes offset the tar. A brooding wonderful old world Italian that went perfect with the duck and pork sausage risotto starter, and the main veal duo of medallions and shank with marrow that you dug out with a spoon, over sauteed kale, diced carrots, onions and garlic. 4 more left that should be drank soon.

Deep ruby red. Bordeaux-like nose. Needs time to open up. Medium bodied, with tannins that are still aggressive. Very long finish with a bitter note typical of a negramaro. To drink over the next 12-24 months.
Rosso rubino cupo, impenetrabile. Finale lunghissimo e leggermente amarognolo. Vino maturo da consumare nei prossimi 12-24 mesi

At very good place now. Very dark color. Dark plums and sweet cherries on nose. Tanins integrated. Balanced, juicy, long aftertaste.

Same as before. Nicely integrated classic. Dark fruits with soft dry dark plum and a hint of oak.

Deep color. Threw sediment the whole way down. Parker sayd plum and tar. I can see that.
