  Pop and pour for Thanksgiving. Cork soaked and fell in. Still, it is in good shape for a 22 year old Kabinett. Just as well that it's my last bottle.

  Alas, last bottle... Great time to drink as acidity is fading. Nose is a sensory delight. Flavors rich, round, tropical, mandarin. The bit of sweetness made for a perfect pairing with a moderately spiced curry. Only slight criticism is finish is a bit short.

  Pop and pour. A touch of oxidation indicates it's time to finish these up. Still quite enjoyable with chicken and olives.

  Wow, still going strong with good acidity. A touch of sugar layered under a cascade of flavors. An epic price performer - only lacks the etherial qualities of the pricer Donnhoff bottlings. Paired brilliantly with good takeout Indian and Tour de France watching.

  Brilliant showing for this 16 year old kabinett. I wouldn't even say full maturity here. Still light gold, plenty of acid and structure remaining. The glorious vintage shines throu. A bit of peach, petrol, green tea. Slight sweetness. 9.0% and this goes down a little bit too easy.
