From a virtually perfect looking bottle, this wine had a deep yellow/light gold center and clear rims. The medium intensity nose featured brioche, apples, dried apricot, and some minerals.
In the mouth, this wine was a bit over-ripe with good richness, firm acidity and decent length. However, there was not much complexity.
This bottle appeared past its best and, I would imagine, its best was not Grand Cru quality. Drink up

Deep yellow-gold. No hint of oxidation. Smoke and some coconut on the nose. Although it's now starting to lose some of it's fruit and past it's prime, it still has very nice texture and acidity and quite enjoyable.

Drouhin Corton Charlemagne 1992 - a decent white burgundy, but nothing more. I found the acid level to be a touch intrusive. the wine offers some decent hazelnut aromas, but seemed a bit one dimensional on balance. good, but should be better considering the year and the appelation

Paired incredibly well with whipped brie de meaux. Decanted for 3 hrs.
