  - Garnet color with medium forming legs and aromas of burnt match, blackberry and cherry. It's balanced and has flavours of blackberry, strawberry jam, fig and chocolate with a medium/full body. Silky texture with a medium finish - Tis neb was close to its peak.....drank a bottle about a year ago and I think it was slightly better but that's quibbling this is a great wine! It is a great and little know corner of the Lombardi.....a high country wine of great distinction.
