Purchased for $20 about 4 years ago. This is a blend of Wurtele Vineyard Cabernet Sauvignon together with Cabernet, Merlot, and Cabernet Franc from the Yverdon and Terra Valentine estate vineyards. 14.9% alcohol. 2nd time I have had this wine. Inky purple color. Full bodied with sweet tannins. Notes of black currants. Pepper and toasted oak. Going strong at 11 years old. Very similar in quality to the 2002 vintage which I had years ago. Very good value. 90 points.

Very dark red color. Decanted for 1 hour and followed 2 glasses over 3-4 hours. The nose is provocative with cedar, underbrush, tobacco, cassis, herbal, hints of blue fruits. There is a green streak on the nose that mostly fades over after the first hour. The palate has cassis, dark berries, oak, strong tobacco and anise, green stem streak, firm tannins with grip, medium finish. Last bottle, so I don't have to figure out where this is going. 88+ to 89pts.
