  • Took time to open up. Deep ruby core, medium ruby rim. Medium intense licorice, plum, leather, game, mocha, pine, fresh red fruits, kirsch. Dry medium-high acidity, low-medium tannins, medium body, low-medium intense plum, leather, medium alcohol, medium length finish. Good, mid-priced, Ready to drink but could age. Enjoyable. Very nice match with a roled roast.

  • 100% Aglianico. Ruby/purple in colour, pink at the rim. Very floral nose; rose and lavender. Medium bodied, pretty wine. Juicy with a clean finish. Was the last wine of the night, but my favourite. A little young, but nothing a half hour in a decanter won't fix up.
