No formal notes taken. Pop and poured at Joel Palmer House and consumed over an hour. Aromas were mature, offering nice scents of mushrooms and mature fruit. Lot much acidity or tannins present anymore, and the overall personality was quite light and soft throughout. Enjoyable for sure, but not much depth.

Full deep red. Bright zingy cherry aroma with some spiciness. Really tight black cherry and stoney fruit. Long, slightly bitter finish. Like most Oregon pinots, I would prefer this one with a few more years of age. 91 pts. 10/05
