Popped with some air time in bottle. Clear, med ruby red color. Thin nose and taste. Very light body/flavor. flat, tired, only slight Pinto taste. Generic, more like a $15 bottle. Nothing off, just not interesting and rather none descript. Disapppointing showing. If you got em, drink em, no hope for better results by cellaring.

Makansutra Outing @ Cafe de HK (Balestier Road): Looked lightish translucent red like a pinot or merlot. Smelled of sweet flower petals. Pretty sweet ripe cherries and strawberryish notes. Simpla and quaffable. I had guessed a new world tempranillo and some guessed a new world grenache. However, this suprised everyone when it turned out to be a pinot! Very non typical of a pinot but really drinkable.

Tastes clean, but closer to a merlot.

The Eighth Annual Philadelphia Wine Festival (Philadelphia Marriott Downtown): This was a bit watery. Nice nose, but not what I expected.

Garnet appearance, blackberry on the nose. Slightly acidic, but an overall good value wine.
