Surprise of the night from the magic Ponsot vintage. Lollipop, caramel, white fruit, floral. Firm, precise, large on the palate, perfect for old wine lover. For me even more preferred than the somewhat shy d'Auvenay on the side. 94

If you like old Cortons, this wine is for you..... lots of toasted nuts, a bit of lemon in the mid-palate, some mineral flavors in the finish. Toasted nutty quality continued throughout. Was opened at 'The Californian' restaurant in Huntington Beach for about 2 hours until the bottle was finished. Just kept getting better! (Was excellent with the truffle flavored French fries)
