  Kraftpaket. härlig doft med citrus och blommor. Extremt fylligt. Knockout.

  Didier Dagueneau’s wines are always interesting. This was no expedition. It was unbelievably fresh for an eighteen year old Sauvignon Blanc. Expressive right out the bottle. Medium yellow color. White flowers and beeswax on the nose. Remarkable mouthfeel and minerality. Over the 2 hours citrus, tropical fruit, and light spice notes continued to develop in the glass. Lingering finish. There is definitely Sauvignon Blanc typicity but no way I could have identified this blind as Loire Sauvignon Blanc. Probably would have guessed white Bordeaux. Beautiful wine.

  Massivt, lite kort men massivt. Stinker inte sauvignon blanc men det finns där. Imponerande.

  Färg: Medel – gyllengul.
  Kant: 2 mm mot vattenklar.
  Intensitet: Hög.
  Färgar glaset? Nej.
  Gardiner: Tunna.

  Korrekt? Ja.
  Doftintensitet: Hög.
  Doft: Frukt - Gul frukt - Päron, äpple. Citrus - lemon curd, grapefruktskal, Tropisk frukt - mogen banan. ananas. Mineral - granit. Ålder - honung. Örter - citronmeliss.
  Utveckling: Moget vin.
  
  SMAK
  Torrt/sött: Torrt.
  Syra: Medel +.
  Tanniner: Mycket små – men ändå.
  Alkohol: Medel, viss halkighet.
  Fyllighet: Stor.
  Smakstyrka: Medel +.
  Smak: Frukt- citrus - citron, grapefruktskal. Tropisk frukt - ananas, mogen banan. Gul frukt - moget päron. Ålder - smörigt honung.
  Textur/balans/bubblighet: Nja.
  Eftersmak: Ganska lång men mest beska och syra.
  
  SLUTSATSER
  Kvalitet: Mycket bra.
  Drickabilitet: Fanstastiskt nu, håller säker några år men ingen idé att vänta.
  Geografi: Loire.
  Pris: Dyrt, 650 kr.

  I must admit I tend to dislike sauvingnon blanc. However, Dider Dagueneau's wines are the exception. This is a lovely wine with none of the overbearing herbaceous which you see in so many sav blancs. It is still has the tropical fruit nose which one would expect but it is reserved and refined with wonderful fruit. A truly lovely wine which rivals the best white burgundies.
