Oddly quite similar to the 2010 Pira Barolo drunk dirctly before - only smoother. Good colour, still has plenty of guts but drinking now. Cherry on the palate.

With the price of a great Bordeaux and the qwuality of a medium Bordeaux this wine cannot be recommended, despite being a good Cab.

Bright red blood color; Had to decant vigorously to open it; elegant nose with touches of blackberries and tobacco; great with beef or pork.

Robe assez sombe, nez expressif sur les épices et fruits noirs en retrait pour l'instant. La bouche est chaleureuse, bel équilibre au travers de cette belle matière, manque de définition mais à cet âge c'est très normal je crois. Longueur des plus acceptables. Belle texture, racé, pourra dormir en paix avant de renaître à mon sens dans 5-7 ans au moins..
