Opens up with farmyard aromas and subtle red fruit. There's a lot going on in the glass now, this has really developed nicely since last bottle in 2015. There's marks of strawberry compote, spices and sous bois. Really lovely, expressive wine. Ready now.

Lovely wine. As with the last bottle, there is a good balance between the fruit and tertiary flavors. This is quite elegant and finessed. No hurry to drink up.

In a good spot now because of the balance between the subtle, pretty red fruit and the tertiary flavors of mushrooms and under brush. Made before Arnoux went more aggressive with the wood I assume because the wine is elegant with no marks or oak. Brought to Plates in Larchmont for dinner with the family. This was a great match with the Long Island duck.

A bit closed up right now, shows dark red fruit with few tertiary flavors. Finessed fruit. Wait. At home with Christian.
