A little early to drink....After decant and Venturi x 2 it slowly opened a bit.....Fruit is light. Structure is still in control. Try in a few more years.

Des notes d'épices douces de poivre et de cerises noires au nez et en bouche une belle complexité corsée avec des tannins soyeux; heureusement nous l'avions mis en carafe une heure au préalable.

Vinetasters: Pessac-Léognan (Skokie, IL): Served double blind. The colour already prepares me for something that I don’t think I’ll like. Charred stuff and mocha on the nose. The nose here wouldn’t be out of place smelling a bag of coffee beans, but in cabernet? Nope. Lots and lots of sweetness here, with this overextracted jamminess on the palate playing a huge role. A ridiculous amount of tannins make this a slog. Probably a modernist 2009? My 10th, group's 2nd.
