  Enjoyed with regular wine group. Syrah, Petite Sarah theme. This bottle was fantastic. Way better than last one opened maybe 18 24 months ago. Bottle variation? Likely I think. But after having this one it could have gone one for another 5 or more. Great fruit, tannins resolved, acid still there and right. Everyone loved it.

  Excellent. Dark ripe fruit, integrated and fully resolved tannin, silky long finish. Notes of blueberry, lilac, asphalt, mahogany, on the nose and palate. Lots of body and structure, I am personally skeptical it holds together for 9 more years but there is also no rush here. Wish I had more, or could find more. (Found more)

  Worth the wait, as an outstanding Cab alternative with our grilled streaks tonight. Wouldn’t go so far as to call this “exceptional” (I had high hopes!), but grateful to have had it in my cellar. Maybe not a great ROI, but smooth, varietally representative and still quite enjoyable. No need to wait.
