Wines with 312 Fish Market (Chicago, IL): Nascent secondary characteristics on the nose; I quite like the implied acidity and the maturing yellow fruit here. The palate I thought was a fair bit weaker than the nose; this had a weird disjoint character as if you blended some Chablis aged in stainless steel with some aged in oak. This isn't too integrated, and while it has good overall weight and material, it just doesn't feel put together right.

In a great place. Very fersh indeed with plenty of citrus, yet has great depth, minerals, hints of honey, butter and a long finish; will live on, but why? #Kandestderne

Dinner with the wine group (Millbrae, CA): Golden; richly aromatic, caramel, some white fruits; palate is full bodied, seems mature but not overly so, medium-plus acidity, medium alcohol, mature white fruits; finish is medium length. Fully mature, drink now. 89

Funky nose like a waterfall of lanolin bee stings, vivid greens, and hay. Took the palate at least an hour's air to start braiding with it, but the whole path grabs your attention. Outstanding if a tad disjointed at first. Drink now.
