In the 3 years since our last bottle, there is much more sediment - thicker than fine powder, but not quite at the small chunk / coffee ground stage yet. The nose is much more fruity on the pull of the cork than last time, lacking the funk. Dark cherry, tart strawberry, and cranberry show up front with leather & earth rounding out the aromas. At dinner a few hours later the palate initially showed the funk. It dissipated within an hour though, leaving the iron / blood minerality to shine through with the tart fruit.

Pronounced dark cherry and wood spice nose. Warm fruit with wood notes, cranberry, cherry, pomegranate. Really good although wood driven. A few years left but drink up.

Popped-and-poured. Rich black fruit with savory spice. Probably not quite showing Grand Cru density, but very balanced and charming right now. Wonderful balance and charm for the first hour, then this started getting slightly tired and drying. Best to enjoy over the next few years.

Very good. Lighter than the typical Cali pinot and not a fruit bomb. Still has structure and presence.
