  • Drank over two nights. On the first night, the nose offered nice honeysuckle, floral and apricot notes.... the mouth blended those off-sweet qualities against mild apple and pear notes. Things changed on the second night.... the nose gave off more of a canned fruit quality and the pleasant subtleties from night one didn't hold up. Docked it a couple of points for that, but from the drinking window the wine is going on in years so might be my fault for waiting too long....

  • Excellent with a traditional thanksgiving dinner - apple and a bit of oak.

  • Not my cup of tea, but a servicable white blend. Bright golden-wheat in the glass. Nose of bright myer lemon, bitter root, and ...in my humble opinion...cat-pee. The nose did blow off in 5-10 minutes of pour, but I don't dig this nose that much. From a flavor profile, I think the citrus flavors dominate, with mild petrol on the finish. This does taste better with food, than on it's own. This was a white wine tasting, and I wanted to understand the difference in white profiles.

  • Aroma of classic Semillon: vanilla, pear, peach, and yes, banana and apricot. Taste is tart and acidic, from the SB, and still quite will rounded from the Semillon. The floral and soft fruit from the glass was very nice. Finish has a bit of honey, more tart fruit, and a nice cream lemon flavor. Overall, very nice Bordeaux blanc. Served with Tilapia and citrus/mango sauce. Purchased wine from winery.
