Pale gold. Classic MP nose of almonds, butter and pears. Palate slightly on the richer side with honey and spice notes. The rocky mineral finish comes as a surprise and the wine finishes beautifully. Even better on day 2 when it has tightened up with air. Not a long term keeper, 2022?

Honeyed and subtle petrol-y notes on the nose. Rich on the palette with notes of honey, orange flower, melon. Good acid, and enough minerality to support the richness.

Deep gold. Nose of floral honey, green apple, and crushed rock. In the mouth, cutting, precise minerals and honey. Mouth-watering acidity and a long, crisp finish bring this together. The balance of rich, honeyed flower and focused stone & mineral impress and make for a gorgeous Les Perrières. Drinking wonderfully now and for 5+ more years.

Another Killer Night with the Sydney Grapemates (Sydney, Australia): Opening with a faintly floral, restrained nose, the lightweight palate featured tea, pear, gentle citrus and honeydew. Some fennel & buttered popcorn notes emerged on the finish. While the wine was a bit ephemeral at first, it took on weight over time, as the temperature moderated. A classy Chardonnay for sure.
