Fairly simple, medium-dry dessert wine. Clean; has a little age about it. Not exactly luscious, but medium-bodied, pleasant now and can hold for a while.

Not much different to February's note; sweetness is a little more evident when flying solo, although with blue cheese it still falls a little short of generous; still, there's a pleasant tangy, acidic spine that runs through the wine. Finishes clean enough. Presumably will last for a very long time, but is never going to be a knockout wine.

(Weingut Kracher Beerenauslese) Tangerine and orange candy hover on the nose, followed by candied orange peel and a nervous, elegant, saline-tinged finish. Always one of the best values in the portfolio. Winery Spotlight: Weingut Kracher
