From magnum. Holding beautifully well, this Tesson improved with 30 minutes of air. At 20 years old, this wine has softened and harmonized into a glorious Tesson. Wine has another ten years of life in magnum format and my children were shocked to discover that this beautiful wine was as old as they are yet showing no signs of decline. A real beauty and pleasure to drink!

Quite rich and expressive on the first day (and drank without food), I enjoyed this more once it had calmed down a bit on the second night. Deep yellow in color, belying the age. Palate is dominated by hazelnut, nutmeg, pear and apple flavors with a touch of spice to finish. Fully mature and very good, this will keep for 5 years easily. Great bottle today, and it's apparent this could have been decanted.

Pre NYE at Californios. On the heels of ‘05 PYCM Batard, this didn’t miss a beat and performed very well in the company of that great wine. Fully mature, but a bit younger than my last bottle. Everything I want in properly aged white burgundy. Excellent.

Fully mature, but not premoxed. Medium yellow; rich and deep with notes of marzipan and minerals. Aromatic and complex with a great mouthfeel. I would certainly be happier if it were 10 years older with this flavor profile, but very good nonetheless.

(Fichet Meursault Les Tesson) Nose of minerals, seawater and lime zest with some very tight green apple flavors and sea-shell mineraity. Good wine but seemed closed on this night.

Another killer bottle. Lithe, vibrant and focused, but still clearly at the latter part of its maturity plateau.
