Still drinking very well. It was certainly a very nice California Chard, but did not live up to the hype. Not on par with other top tier Cali Chardonnays.

SQN & BBQ (The Krengels - Bannockburn IL): So rich and concentrated, I'd have thought this 10-15 yo Cali Chardonnay, not 20+ yo from a mediocre vintage. Still nicely powerful, but more earthy and mature than I'd prefer. Still very alive, even if I'd expect it was better a decade back.

12/06/08: Beautifull gold color and a wonderful nose of hazlenut, fresh bread and honey. The flavor is intense with citrus, hazlenut, yeast, honey and minerality. This full bodied wine as tremendous structure, lushness and perfectly balanced acidity. The finish is mineral and crisp and very very long. Drink up now

Color: deep golden yellow. Bouquet: whoops! Obviously should have opened this a while ago. Completely over the hill. Undrinkable. No rating.
