  beautiful deep luminiscent golden color. Like the straw/hay in an impressionist painting as it catches the light. the nose had multilayer petrol tones with papaya, mango and wet rock all taking turns at impressing. Very nice mid-palate pop with ample acidity and structure. Picked late but then fermented dry (or damn close...there had to have been some rs? Or was that the age?) beautiful wine, it could have gone longer, even much longer in bottle.
