Monthly Tuesday group "The Dead Sparrow" #022: Gigondas (By PV): Beautiful bouquet, a bit rustic, some barnyard, metal, vanilla and garrigue. On the palate the same impressions, leather, autumn forest, syrah, leather, some cigar box and bell pepper. Red and dark berries, good acidity, tannin with still some bite and a good length. For this off vintage this is an extremely good wine with good complexity and even some future left. Chapeau!

Monthly tasting club LTC 2016 ??; Grenache/Garnacha dominated wines. (@ SO): Concentrated and aromatic bouquet with red and dark forest fruits like blackberries and strawberries. On the palate dark berries, minerals, red fruits, minerals, herbs, a lot of concentration, firm acidity and tannin. Chocolate, oak and vanilla. Not everyone in the group was really a fan of this wine. Imho quite ok and with a future of several years.

Monthly Tuesday group #010: Southern Rhône excluding C9duP. (By JdB): Not extremely dark colored. Slightly garnet rim. In the bouquet red and dark (black)berries, yoghurt, garrigue, leather and some caramel. On the palate juicy red and dark berries, white pepper, rhubarb, herbs and spices, some chocolate, firm but good acidity and fairly mild tannin. A juicy and elegant wine. Ready now and no extreme hurry.

Pronounced nose intensity with red and dark fruits. Dark black berries, spices and full bodied with high tannin and acidity. Tasted at Bar a Vin.
