I think that the acidity may outlive the fruit. Regardless, it's still a lovely bottle of Pinot Noir, albeit a bit on the simple side. Delicious nonetheless, it paired well with smoked quail and sauteed shi'itakes.

Another three years have seen this wine develop. Now, still with tart acidity, the wine shows a mixture of raspberry fruit and earth. I don't know if it's likely to improve much more, but it's quite tasty in its current incarnation.
