Wow this was good; definitely top 2-3 '07 Burgs I've had; the nose is stellar; pure and airy red berry fruits with lovely sauvage and game meat; floral notes, hints of black tea, baking spice, and forest floor emerge with air. The palate has very good concentration and depth for the vintage and while the structure is mostly resolved this shows no signs of fading. Should drink beautifully for another 4-5 years at least.

This is fantastic. I was a bit concerned because there was a small amount of leakage up to the level of the wax, but the wine was excellent. The nose was beautiful and classic Gevrey. Loads of black raspberry, red currant, black cherry, dried violets, and classic sauvage/game notes. There is just a hint of underlying minerality. The palate is wonderfully balanced and seems pretty much mature at this point. Lovely fruit, still juicy acidity, and tannins that are not noticeable. Impeccable bottle of Burgundy. I think the 07s are likely hitting full stride at this point. Still has several great drinking years ahead, but not sure I see any further improvement.

This was delicious, but I think there's upside in both complexity and texture from here. Regardless- this hit the spot

This is a very fine Gevrey and very Fourrier. If you settle for secondary aromas, this is the time to pop.
