Medium yellow with the barest hint of brown. Orchard fruit and higher toned secondary aromas. Medium weight and not that glycerine. Off dry. Apple and citrus rather than pear, good tart acidity. Not especially moving and atypical in its fruit character but completely sound.

Mostly Spanish at Famous Treasure: My contribution because I messed up the theme. Beautiful light gold in colour which was a relief given how variable the secs can be with age. Lovely nose of pear and slight honey notes, it put on weight to become a more imposing wine after an hour or so. Terrific acidity for the warm vintage, and drinking much younger than its age. Someone managed to nail this quite impressively blind.

(Domaine Huet Vouvray Sec Clos du Bourg) Light lemon yellow color; very appealing, tart apple, green apple, ripe lime, mineral nose; very tasty, rich, lime, mineral, tart pear palate with lovely texture; medium-plus finish 93+ points

This felt somewhat oxidized, although still drinkable.

French but no BBC: Compared to the previous bottle that I had which was exceedingly fresh, this was advanced unfortunately.

Medium yellow. Light and elegant. Honeysuckle and citrus, just off dry, excellent acidity and minerality. More than I expected from a 2009.
