NobleRottersSydney - Burgundy (360 Bar & Dining, Sydney): cork, 13%} [DavidM] Smoky nose. Soft oak, sweet strawberries. Very seductive. The palate has a velvety texture, with developed red fruit flavours, medium dusty tannins, medium acid and weight. It’s also even, balanced, nuanced; wholly integrated; it’s hard to find things to pick out here. Overall, it’s just very seductive. Vied with the St Denis for wine of the night; this perhaps won’t last so long, but was scarcely inferior on this occasion – a reflection of the vintage perhaps. Quite a privilege to drink.

A bit closed beyond mere subtlety. Unsatisfying. Simple cherry. Polished tannins. Boring to me and i do enjoy chambolle. This was underwhelming to my senses.
Hold or avoid.

First exposure to this bottling, like this producer s consistency.
From 750ml. Cork was perfect and minimal soaked.
Charry aromas and flavours. Lacking the delicacy I was expecting from C-Musigny. Perhaps opened a bit young, certainly not past it.
Hold to 2022 at least.

Seattle Burgundy Group Tasting #2 Chambolle Musigny writ large (Cordon Selections): 2005 color and smell. vanilla notes but not overly distracting. Kinda plain Jane. We all thought it was the Fuees, but I think most of us didn't realize this bottling was more expensive.
