  Earthy, medium bodied with prevalent tannin structure. I felt that this wine lacked some balance with the fruit:tannin ratio. Interesting wine nevertheless.

  Decent wine, medium light bodied with dark fruits (plum especially), notes of tobacco, and a smoke like taste lingers in your mouth. Good acidity. Short finish.

  Clear medium ruby. Appears light bodied in the glass. Dusty leathery dark fruit on the nose. Light body on the palate with only trace tannins. Flavor profile is dark and brambly however, despite the light mouthfeel. Finish is short but continues the overall dark cast. Low alcohol (12%) makes it an easy quaffer and a good food wine. Enjoy within the coming year.

  nose: raisins, figs
  taste: bone dry, raisins and figs provide an illusion of sweetness, good acidity, ripe red fruits, long finish
