decanted off the sediment raspberry aroma and color this was delightful and offered so much more than the 2010 just consumed. Yes there is acidity but also lucid bouyant fruit offset by savory herbs and decent finish. This is in a good spot and should be enjoyed now

Deep impenetrable color. Pristine berries on nose. Racy acidity on palate with still youthful fruit. Substantial depth of flavor/palate penetration. Long finish. Tame tannins. This will last in the cellar for decades. Wait another 5 years for complexity to develop. 94+

Really well balanced Petit Sirah. Has smoothed out nicely over the years and is drinking very nicely now. Soft, round mouthfeel with excellent fruit. Lovely example of the variety.

wiff of funk and dark berry and dirt suggestive of southern rhone
savory palate almost salty but fruit kicks in before it gets brackish
this is ready and best with food. drink up
