1/1 - very good cork. Decanted 1/2 an hour. Deep garnet core, pale garnet rim. Nose is attractive if not overly deep, showing blackberry fruit, spice, floral notes. The palate is medium bodied with blackberry fruit again to the fore, attractive floral notes, soft tannins, quite juicy and pure, fresh acidity, good length, harmonious finish showing just a touch of leather. Really delicious - quite Côte-Rôtie like - drinking beautifully still too though perhaps one to drink over the next 3 years or so.

Quite plush, dark purple. Good but fading dark fruit concentration and a black-pepper finish, but everything still pretty tight and the nose is reticent. Fan of the savoury style, but perhaps this is at an awkward stage and/or needed a little more time in the decanter.

Finally this has got its mojo back following some years where it closed down. Very Crozes hermitage-y floral and sweet blueberry essence, nicely mellowed tannins, drinking a-point now

Palate is supple with juicy black fruit and a concentrated, spicy core that’s just beginning to unwind. A little sweeter than a Northern Rhone. Not that complex: suspect I may have drunk it a little young, but very enjoyable nonetheless (with or without food).

Completely closed & tight. Stupidly carried on drinking it & probably wasted what will eventually be a good wine
