PopnPour, tasted over 2 hrs -opaque dark red purple no bricking -rich ripe almost jammy dark fruit plum wet rock minerality -med acidity, med/med+ weight full round soft almost lush if somewhat faded fruit with dusty earth faint pine/gin element and a wisp of black pepper, med tannins with mild toasted grain component (?brett) on the average length finish -still quite alive with notable complexity, showing features typical of '09 Southern Rhônes

A bit expensive for a Côtes du Rhône, but this punches above its weight class. The Syrah is very prominent here, with loads of grilled meat, plums, creosote, and black pepper. Savory and lengthy on the palate. The tannins are noticeable, but well managed. This seems as though it can age a bit.

PopnPour, tasted over 2 hrs and Day 2 -opaque very dark red/purple/black, glass-staining -low profile black fruits, tar -med- acidity, black fruits, earth, tar, licorice, med+ concentration and weight, ripe med- tannins -pleasant, was more interesting 2 years ago as this is structured to be flamboyant in its youth, not sure what will happen with further age

Delicious! A hint of brett, but not too much. Black color and fruits but not heavy, instead lively, and delivers all the classic syrah notes you could want.
