Brown golden color. Nose of oxidized apple juice, honey and caramel. Full bodied and balanced with the same flavors as the nose and glycerine. Acid plus. Medium length and pleasant finish. Well developed with tertiary flavors.

Viscous straw gold. Nose of lemon, wax mineral and demara sugar. Light and oily on the palate with strong lemon, mineral and a light touch of anise. Excellent.

I did not enjoy this bottle.. it was quite interesting, but not very good; the nose clearly had botrytis and loads of honey that dominated most everything else; there was a hint of some bruised apple and peach underlying. The palate had too much acidity to match the flavor profile and made it feel disjointed and off. Not sure if this was an off bottle as I've had enjoyable wines from Epire before, but I couldn't get into this one.

Another delicious golden-hued Epire. Tangy, waxy and nutty, with mineral. Excellent.

acid is wanting, and fruit is overly oxidized. the wine suffers from excessively oxidized fruit, and is undrinkable
